What is a perfume decant?
A decant is real perfume transferred from the original bottle into a smaller atomizer. A typical 1–2 mL sample vial lasts a few days; an 8 mL ScentClub decant gives you about 120 sprays, roughly a month at four sprays a day. That is enough to wear a scent to work, on weekends and in different weather before you decide whether it deserves a full bottle.
Samples, decants, minis or full bottles?
- Sample vials (1–2 mL): a few wears, good for a first impression.
- Decants (8 mL at ScentClub): about a month of wear in a travel spray, enough to really know a fragrance.
- Brand minis: made by the fragrance house, but only available for some scents.
- Full bottles (50–200 mL): the best value once you know you love it.

Can I order a single decant without a subscription?
Yes. Every fragrance can also be bought once as an 8 mL decant from its product page, at the one-time price shown there (browse all fragrances). A monthly plan costs less per decant, and you can skip a month, pause or cancel anytime.
How long does an 8 mL decant last?
About 120 sprays, roughly 30 days at four sprays a day.
Can I give decants as a gift?
Yes. A gift subscription sends two or three fragrances a month for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, and the recipient picks their own scents.
